- Employs a broad integrated triple-thread bed offering high rigidity and a proprietary narrow-guide sliding surface that reduces meandering and enables stable cutting.
- Permits three maximum work piece height options when rotated on the carriage – 700, 900, and 1,100 mm, and a wide range center-to-center distance options, from 1,000 mm chuck work pieces to center work pieces in excess of 20 m.
- A large curvic coupling is used for the standard cutter holder, providing a 420 mm square, 4-station turret. Further, additional tooling based on the shape of the work piece is possible, allowing for the use of a deep hole boring bar setup, a horizontal-type large diameter 6-station turret, and a vertical-type 8-station or 12-station turret, depending on user needs.
- A built-in rotating tailstock spindle capable of withstanding deep cuts into large diameter shaft work pieces is provided as standard.
